Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) offers the world's leading range of certificates for both learners and teachers of English. A Cambridge ESOL certificate can help you gain entrance to college or university, improve your prospects at work, or simply provide a measure of your progress in English. It operates in a hundred and thirty five countries worldwide and each year over one and three quarter million people attempt to gain a Cambridge ESOL qualification.
Cambridge ESOL is part of Cambridge Assessment, formerly known as UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate), a non-teaching department of the University of Cambridge, England. Cambridge Assessment is Europe's largest assessment agency and one of the largest internationally recognised assessment agencies in the world. A not-for-profit organisation, Cambridge Assessment celebrated it's one hundred and fiftieth anniversary in 2008.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) are umbrella terms for all the various English language teaching awards available worldwide. As such, all Cambridge ESOL teaching awards are 'TEFL courses' (or 'TESOL courses').

CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is an initial
teaching qualification for new or inexperienced teachers.

We offer CELTA on a part-time basis; two or three days a week over a ten week period, or on a full-time basis; either four days a week over a five week period or five days a week over a four week period.
We make significant use of a browser-based course management software package called 'Moodle' (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) which serves primarily as a means of distributing and collecting documents (written assignments, lesson plans e.t.c.) If your course includes 'a Moodle component' (which all of our CELTA courses and most of our DELTA courses do), you will be provided with a Moodle enrolment key (once we have received your deposit payment) and you will be expected to upload and download course-related documents using Moodle from then on. Regular Internet access throughout the duration of your course (and in some cases before your course begins) is therefore a must.
