What is Teaching Artistry?
Teaching Artistry workshops are not about “performing” for learners or adding entertainment to lessons. They explore how a teacher’s voice, body, attention, timing, relationships and creative choices shape what learners feel able to do.
Participants leave with practical activities, renewed confidence and fresh ways to create classrooms where learners feel safer, more engaged and more willing to take risks.

Led by Dr Tom Godfrey
Dr Tom Godfrey is a teacher educator, trainer, facilitator and theatre-maker with more than forty years’ experience in education.
He has worked extensively in teacher education through CELTA, DELTA, professional-development programmes, workshops and conferences. He is also a stage performer and the founder and director of Speech Bubbles Theatre Company in Istanbul, where he directs musicals and drama productions.
His work brings together teacher education, applied theatre, social and emotional learning, embodied pedagogy and facilitation. Teaching Artistry grew from his belief that teaching is not simply the delivery of content, but a live, relational and deeply human practice.
